Wii U Pro Controller Gets Huge Battery Life and SNES Flashback

Nintendo has surprised many of us with their long lasting batteries for Pro Controller on the Wii U. Many sources, including Amazon and GameStop, are detailing that the Pro Controller can last up to 80 hours on a single charge. For any hardcore gamers out there, that’s a huge and vastly needed improvement when it comes to our controllers. As of now the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 controllers don’t match up against what Nintendo is offering. Now if only Nintendo can get into some really hardcore games.

In other news, EB Games Australia has posted a Pro Controller SNES version. The controller sports the same dual analog sticks as the Pro Controller but the bottom portion seems to have an embedded SNES controller. How this controller takes me back. Will you get one if it comes to North America? Lastly, this controller isn’t coming straight from Nintendo, it seems to be a third party controller and nothing else is known at the moment.
